Golden State Warriors VS Utah Jazz

After earning the team’s first post-season series win since 2010, Gordon Hayward faced Curry and Durant’s Golden State Warriors in a series where the Warriors continued to be the favourites to come out the Western Conference. In an era where the power-forward position becomes known as a stretch 4 and possessing the ability to shoot from the mid-range to the 3-point, Utah was heavily exposed especially through starting Derrick Favours then leaning towards Joe Johnson at the 4. Golden State’s fast paced offence proved too much for the Jazz along with Draymond’s defensive efforts with an NBA Playoff’s leading 3.2 blocks per game. With Jazz’s exit, it could also mean that it could’ve been Hayward’s last ever game for the Jazz as he tests free agency for a max contract.
